workin it in a retro style today:)

This outfit is one that you will either love or hate and there isn't much in between. But personally I absolutely love it! It is a plain dark gray t-shirt with a black long sleeve under it. Both of those are tucked into my fav pair of high waisted jeans from Brandy Melville. Around my waist I am wearing a thin white belt that goes fabulously with my socks and shoes. My shoes are a pair of maroon vans that I got for Christmas and they go great with my jacket and the reds on my hat. My socks sticking out of my shoes are adorable. You may like your socks short and not visible but I like mine bulky and right out there for everyone to see. It's so much cuter that way! My hat is custom made by my friend RJ Jones and I really love the way it fits and sits on my head. My bag is a tiny backpack that fits in with the whole retro feeling of this outfit. I hope you all love this outfit as much as I do!

Yesterday I had a wonderful Christmas with my family. We all came down stairs and opened so many presents together it was really nice. I bet you all would never guess that I got a huge amount of clothes because that is almost all I asked for. This dress is just one of the adorable things I got yesterday but it is definitely one of my favorites. This adorable, maroon, floral, and lace dress goes fabulously with the cream colored knit hat I have on. The hat adds a casual feeling and a little bit of an edgy feeling with the dress. My boots are little gray booties that I have rolled up as far as the can go but I only tied part of them which makes the white socks visible. The white socks go great with the hat and dress but they also help to bring attention to the shoes because that is a big important part of the outfit.

Merry Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! Tonight's outfit is inspired by Christmas and it is a dark purple, floor length, elegant skirt. It has beautiful black designs all around it. With it I have on a plain black long sleeve shirt to go with the black designs in the skirt. I'm also wearing a black infinity scarf to keep the black look going. Around the waist of my skirt I have on a thick black belt that helps complete the outfit. I can't wait for Christmas tomorrow! Have a wonderful night and I hope Santa comes to all of your houses! 

Getting into the Christmas spirit with over sized sweaters and glasses!

Since today was the last day of school until Christmas break. I went for the casual christmasy look. I wore an over sized sweater with a turtle neck under it. The turtle neck is gray and goes really well with the lighter colors of the over sized sweater. My socks are white with gold stripes and they make the feel of Christmas even better! Happy Christmas eve eve everyone!

Love, love, love me some boho pants!

This outfit was from a couple days ago that I haven't had time to post. This outfit consists of a cute pair of nude bohemian pants that are baggy up top and tight around that calves. My shirt is a plain black long sleeve and over it I have a colorful knitted long vest with a hood. The black shirt goes great because there are some black stripes in the vest. The two tops also look great with the pants because the vest has lighter tones like the pants and then the black of the long sleeve is a great contrast to the whole outfit. I am also wearing some necklaces that I have stacked. They are all different lengths and look so great staggered the way I have them. They add to the outfit and keep that comfy, casual, boho feel going strong.

Button ups around the waist look so, so great!

Today I'm wearing a light button up with soft pink flowers. My scarf is the same pearl pink as the flowers and it looks perfect together. My long sleeve is white to go with the light tone of the shirt around my waist. Keeping the light look strong I am wearing a light blue pair of high waisted jeans with the white shirt tucked into them. Having a certain theme to an outfit, like the light one of this one, keeps it constant and brings more positive attention to it making it look great.

Oh how opposites attract!

This outfit is a great example of two extremes looking wonderful together. The dark of the polka dot shirt next to the light and bright salmon color of the dress looks amazing together.The piece over the polka dot shirt is a dress that I have looking like a jacket and being super cute. This looks great completely opened, having one button buttoned to be able to see the shirt under it, or having the sash tied around the waist. However you wear it, if you bring confidence and personality to it you can't go wrong!
